Budget Committee Documents

Purpose

The Litchfield Budget Committee is responsible to assist voters in the prudent appropriation of public funds per New Hampshire RSA Chapter 32 Municipal Budget Law.  The committee works with municipal and school district officials to prepare an operating budget and default budget to present to voters at the annual Budget Hearing, Deliberation sessions, and finally Town Meeting.  The committee is also required to provide its recommendation (or non-recommendation) on special warrant articles.
